Editorial policy
What we publish, how we check it, and what we refuse to do.
Every page must earn its place
- Each page solves a defined user problem and contains at least one original component: a working calculation, a usable tool, a decision table, a sourced dataset, or a practical procedure.
- We do not publish pages just because a keyword exists, and we do not mass-produce thin variants of the same query.
- We do not copy, lightly reword, translate, or stitch together competitors' pages as the value of a page.
Accuracy & sourcing
- Formulas are standard and citable; see methodology.
- Absorption coefficients are sourced and published as a downloadable dataset.
- We never fabricate statistics, quotes, credentials, first-hand tests, customer stories, authors, or reviews.
- Tool outputs are labelled as planning estimates, with their assumptions stated.
Originality & media
- Diagrams and illustrations are original SVGs generated by the project, or properly licensed images with attribution stored.
- We do not download arbitrary search-result images.
Anti-spam & distribution
- We grow through organic search, genuinely useful resources, and relevant community participation through the owner's real accounts — never bots, fake profiles, automated commenting, purchased links, or unsolicited bulk outreach.
- We use no misleading titles, false scarcity, fake reviews, cloaking, or doorway pages.
