This site is operated by an independent owner (contactable below). It is not affiliated with, owned by, or sponsored by any acoustic-products manufacturer or retailer, and it does not sell panels, traps, or any physical product.

How it's built — and our honesty about that

The calculators and written guides are built and maintained with AI-assisted research and development, with the formulas and data drawn from the published acoustics references listed on the methodology page. We think transparency matters, so to be clear:

We do not invent a fake "lead acoustician" or fictional staff. There is no fabricated expert persona behind this site.
We do not fabricate statistics, quotations, customer stories, tests, or reviews.
Calculations follow standard, citable formulas; absorption figures are sourced and downloadable.
Tools produce planning estimates. For critical or commercial work, verify against manufacturer data and, where appropriate, a qualified acoustician.

How it's funded

The site runs on free-tier static hosting and currently has no advertising and no affiliate links. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed here, and recommendations will remain generic (panel thickness and coverage), never brand-steered.

Corrections & contact
